“Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”. This famous quote portrays the true significance of beauty. Beauty pageants are popular in many parts of the world. It has been running successfully since 1951 from the title being stated as “Miss America”.
Generally people have a perspective that beauty contests act as a platform whereby woman can show her beauty in terms of physical outlook as well as talent. It’s the opportunity for a woman to cast herself in front of the society by being prominent in her intellectual & personality factor. It boosts up the morale & ultimate confidence in her. It also signifies a woman to be internationally recognized & independent.
While others have entirely different approach that beauty contests judge only physical appearance rather than other relevant traits. It is pretty harmful because it encourages woman to go for dieting & resulting in eating disorders by making them all the more anxious about their looks. Beauty is something which is internal & natural. You can’t change your attitude just by doing makeover. What do you think about this propaganda? Are beauty contests really harmful?? Comment.

College – a time for learning, maturing, discovering who you are and last but not the least – the best time for dating. Dating in college is a lot of fun. For most students, college is a pretty carefree time that is enjoyable to spend with another person as they are just getting out on their own for the first time and getting a taste of personal freedom. Amongst the chaos of classes, while studying together students do fall for each other, but does this love continue for long or does it materialize into marriage?
Different people have varying outlook towards it. Some believe that in college, the teenagers are still kids who often visualize their life to be perfect just as a fairy tale without realizing what they actually want in their partner and “Love at first sight” is the common belief of their relationships. This immature outlook ultimately ends up their relation in being only a fling or short term relationship
While some believe that when you fall in love and get into relationships, you certainly have marriage on your mind whether you are in college or working. They strongly believe that college relationships often start with a solid foundation of similar backgrounds and then grow into something much deeper that gives love, comfort, acceptance, stability and fun. Thus for serious couples there is a long road to marriage. So, what do you think? Share your views and scribble it on!
